Spotify provided me and Lucy the access of browsing existing songs that met the alternative indie rock codes and conventions. We chose a small band that isn't recognised world wide like 1975 or Artic Monkeys as it was easier to get in touch with their management to get permission and copyrights to use the song from the original band. Therefore we used via email to get in touch with the band. This was another source of technology we used well as spotify to provide us with the resources we needed for creating our production element, this was all used to gather research for our project.
