Lead Guitar - A lead guitar is a guitar part which plays melody lines, instrumental fill passages, and guitar solos within a song structure.
Rhythm Guitar - The role of rhythm guitar is most often to provide the chord sequence or "progression" of a composition, frequently providing the rhythm or "beat" as well, usually as part of a rhythm section.( basically none of the more outgoing and performing chords a lead guitarist plays)
Drums - Rhythm or support. the modern drumkit is capable of unlimited tonal, melodic and harmonic (as well as rhythmic) shading.
Bass - Popular music bands and rock groups use the bass guitar as a member of the rhythm section, which provides the chord sequence or "progression" and sets out the "beat" for the song
Vocals - Singing the lyrics, is the face of the brand normally.
