Storyboards
These are Mine and Lucy's storyboards that we separated equally we both did 10 shot sequences each to create, well both communicating about; what shots we should have next; long, wide, close up, Angles; high, low, medium etc. Both exchanging thoughts and suggestions on the direction we wanted to perceive in our music video, we both decided before any designing about what genre and type of music video it is, We chose "Alternative Indie Rock" and that it would be a hybrid music video of Performance and Narrative.
Our Narrative is to show the band as who they are behind the camera, their real selves. Therefore we show them on their journey of creating an actual performance music video (hence the performance aspect of the video) and how they get to the shoot etc. we decided to show two halves in our music video One being serious and performing their performance music video and the other is the band behind the scene and what they are doing well not staging a music video. We chose this narrative because from our research of the genre a lot of alternative indie rock fans like to see their idols in their natural habitat, the fans like to know their idols are just like them, living life. Hence the use of natural shots we will included in our music video. we want our actors to come across as everyday people as much as possible well portraying the Genre.
